Quick Guide: Stake Tokens on Streamflow
What is Streamflow Staking?
Streamflow staking works similar to a Certificate of Deposit (CD) in traditional finance. You lock in your liquidity for a set period in exchange for guaranteed rewards. Just like a CD, you commit your tokens for a specific duration and cannot access them until that period completes or the pool expires.
Key concept: You're trading immediate liquidity for yield rewards. The longer you commit, the higher your returns.
1. Prerequisites: Before You Start
To participate in a staking pool, ensure you have the following ready:
A Solana Wallet: Compatible wallets include Phantom or Solflare.
Tokens: The specific tokens you intend to stake must be in your wallet.
SOL Balance: You must hold a small amount of SOL to cover network transaction fees.
2. Step-by-Step Staking Process
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet & Find the Pool
Navigate to the Streamflow Staking Page and connect your supported Solana wallet to the dApp. You can use the search bar to find specific pools like "LEXIE".

You can also directly access the pool via this link.
Once you reach the page, you will need to connect your wallet. On the top of the page there is a button you will click to connect your preferred wallet to streamflow. When this happens there will be a pop-up asking you to verify your wallet
Step 2: Browse Available Pools
Browse the list of available staking pools. We currently offer three staking pools with different durations:
Review the specific details for each pool, including:
APY: Annual Percentage Yield.
Duration: This is set for a year.
Cap: The maximum number of tokens allowed in the pool.
Expiration: When the pool ends (e.g., Jan 23, 2027).
Duration Limits: The minimum and maximum time you can commit tokens.
Step 3: Select a Pool
Select the pool you want to participate in.
Enter Staking Details:
Input the number of tokens you wish to stake and make sure you have enough available balance.
Select how long you want to stake (within the pool's allowed range)
Important: Longer duration = Higher rewards
Example: 30 days vs 90 days → 90 days gets better yield
Note: This is the duration of the staking period - you cannot deposit or withdraw tokens during this time
Once you have selected the amount of tokens you with to stake, you will click on the stake now button on the page.
Authentication: You may be asked to verify your address with a digital signature (this does not cost gas).
Step 4: Review and Confirm
A modal will appear displaying your staking amount, selected duration, and expected yield/APY.
Read the staking conditions carefully.
Check the confirmation box.
Click "Stake Now".

Step 5: Approve in Wallet
Approve the transaction in your wallet and pay the necessary gas fee.

Step 6: Receive Your Stake Tokens
After confirmation, you'll receive Stake Tokens in your wallet.
3. Critical Safety Warning: The "Stake Token"
Once your transaction is confirmed, you will receive Stake Tokens in your wallet. These may appear as seemingly random tokens, but they are essential:
What they are: These tokens store your stake's timestamp, amount, ownership details, and yield information
Why they matter: These tokens are your CLAIMS to your staked tokens and rewards
⚠️ NEVER BURN OR TRANSFER THESE TOKENS ⚠️
Consequence: If you burn or transfer these tokens, you will PERMANENTLY LOSE ACCESS to your staked assets and rewards
Keep these tokens safe in your wallet until you're ready to unstake!
4. Managing Your Stake & Rewards
View Your Stakes
Your active stake will appear in the Streamflow dashboard showing:
Total tokens staked
Time remaining
Rewards earned
Pool performance
Claiming Rewards
Important: Rewards are only distributed when:
Your chosen staking duration is completed, OR
The pool's expiration date is reached
You cannot claim rewards early or during the staking period. The rewards will be available along with your principal when you unstake.
5. Unstaking & Lock-Up Rules
Cannot unstake early - tokens are locked until your chosen duration ends or the pool expires (whichever comes first)
After the duration completes OR pool expires:
Go back to the pool
Click "Unstake"
Your staked tokens + all earned rewards return to your wallet
Stake tokens get burned automatically
6. Risks and Disclaimers
🚨 NEVER BURN OR TRANSFER YOUR STAKE TOKENS 🚨 - You'll permanently lose access to your funds and rewards
No early withdrawal - Like a CD, tokens are locked for the full duration or until pool expiry (no early access)
Rewards only at completion - You receive rewards only when your duration completes OR the pool expires
Choose duration carefully - Can't change after staking
Pool is permissionless - Do your own research on pool creator
Check pool expiration - Make sure it's active long enough

✅ Note expiration - Make sure pool runs long enough
✅ Longer = better - Higher duration = better APY
✅ Guard your stake tokens - Keep them safe in your wallet
❌ Don't rush - Read the staking conditions
❌ Don't stake everything - Keep some liquid for fees
❌ NEVER burn or transfer stake tokens - You'll lose everything
Troubleshooting
"Transaction failed"
Check you have enough SOL for fees
Make sure you have enough tokens to stake
Try refreshing and reconnecting wallet
"Can't find my stake"
Make sure you're connected with the same wallet
Check you're on the correct network (Solana mainnet)
Look in the "My Stakes" section
"Don't see my rewards"
Rewards are only available when your staking duration completes or the pool expires
You cannot claim rewards during the staking period
Check if your duration has ended
Ensure the pool hasn't expired yet
"I accidentally transferred/burned my stake tokens"
Unfortunately, this cannot be reversed
You have permanently lost access to your staked assets
Always double-check before burning or transferring any tokens
