Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I unstake my tokens early?
No. Tokens are strictly locked within the smart contract for the duration you selected during the staking process. There is no "instant exit" or "emergency unstake" feature available. Your funds will only become accessible once the countdown timer reaches zero.
What happens if I lose or burn my "Stake Token"?
Warning: Your funds will be lost. The Stake Token is a unique receipt NFT that proves your ownership of the staked assets.
Burning the token: If you manually burn or "trash" this NFT from your wallet, the smart contract will no longer recognize you as the owner.
Security Tip: Treat this NFT with the same security as your main tokens. Do not send it to "burn addresses" or unknown wallets.
How often are rewards distributed?
Rewards are typically calculated and distributed every 24 hours. However, you must manually claim them through the Streamflow dashboard. They do not automatically appear in your main wallet balance until you hit the "Claim" button.
Why do I need to "Initialize a Reward Entry"?
On the Solana blockchain, every data storage "account" requires a tiny bit of SOL (rent). When you first claim rewards from a new pool, you must initialize an entry to create this storage space. This is a one-time action per pool.
Are the rewards compounded automatically?
No. Streamflow generally uses Simple Interest. This means you earn rewards based on your original principal. To compound your earnings, you would need to claim your rewards and then stake them again in a new staking position.
Is there a limit to how much I can stake?
Each pool has a "Cap" (the maximum number of tokens the pool can hold). If a pool is "Full," the "Stake" button will be disabled until other users unstake or the pool creator increases the limit.
What is the "Duration Multiplier"?
To reward long-term holders, many pools offer a multiplier.
Example: Staking for 30 days might give you a 1x multiplier (Base APY).
Example: Staking for 1 year might give you a 3x multiplier (Triple the Base APY). The specific multipliers are set by the project creator and are visible before you confirm your stake.
What are the fees associated with staking?
Network Fees (Gas): You pay a very small amount of SOL for every transaction (Stake, Claim, Unstake).
Protocol Fees: Streamflow itself does not typically charge users a fee for staking; however, individual pool creators may have specific configurations. Always review the summary modal before clicking "Confirm."
